Singer 9970

After the thread broke I re threaded the machine and now it is making a clanking noise. I am hoping something vibrated lose but I can not figure out how to open it up to look. I see one screw on the back of the machine but I do not want to force it open. is there any videos or pics of how to open the machine up?
