The Needle Seems To Be In The Far Left Position.

Hi,While sewing, and after a while, there is a sudden noise like a "crack" and a couple of times the needle broke. After inspecting, I found that the needle is not in the center of the plate's square hole; but pulled to the far left position (for a straight stitch pattern). In fact, when I move the whole "arm", it looks that there is a spring that maybe is not working.I'd appreciate if somebody can send me a solution.Sofia
