Photobook - Cropping Photos

I use windows 8.1 on a desktop machine. When making a photobook, each page has a placeholder location to drop my photos onto. When i do that, Shutterfly crops the photo to fit. I don't want that since I've already cropped them to exactly the composition I want. How do I re-size the photos to fit, instead of having Shutterfly do an automatic crop?

Crop picture
To crop, roll over the the boundary box in the center of the picture until the arrow icon appears. Click and hold on any of the edges or corners, then drag your mouse up, down, left or right to see what effect it has on the crop. Click-and-drag inside the boundary lines to adjust the center point of the cropped image. You can also change the crop shape using the options under the "Crop" tab on the left. Move from "EasyCrop" to "4x6", "5x7", "8x10" or the two orientations, to see the difference. Select the "Custom Crop Tool" link for Free Crop or Square Crop.
