When I Z Out At The End Of The Day Everything Comes Out 0?
If I have to leave the register for any reason I was told to turn it off. It can be off for up to 15 mins. sometimes. Could this be the reason?

You should be able to turn off your Cash Register without losing any data, providing you have live batteries in the Cash Register (properly installed). If your Cash Register doen not take batteries (unlikely) you should not turn off your Cash Register.
Remember that you DO NOT unplug the Cash Register from the mains power when changing these batteries.
