Lc-42d62u Power And Opc Light Blink Twice Then Opc Once And Sceen Doesn't Come O
i have a lc-42d62u and the power and opc light blink when plugged in. The pattern is power light and opc light blink twice together and then the opc light blinks once and then repeats, the sceen is black and will not come on.

power led 2x and OPC 3x means: DET_6V (pin 27) failure (L). D5V or A5V is not applied. If error is detected during operation, error standby is activated by polling.
This is basically saying that the microprocessor has detected a low signal on pin 27, and this usually means the 6VDC power supply was not sensed, This failure does not point to a certain board or failure, it just give the technician where to start. If i had to guess I would give the power supply a 60% and the main board a 30% chance of fixing this error. Note the missing 10% is because there are other boards that can draw these voltages down.
This really should be repaired by a factory trained technician. there are two versions of the power supply and 8 versions of the main for this model number ( no mom-&-pop shop)
