Sound

Sound now fails to come on. Fater clicking the reset buttons umpteen times I often can get it to come on. However, after turning TV off. The sound is off again when I turn the TV on.

This is a known problem and it has to do with an insulation pad that has broken down and another needs to be inserted. I have heard of cases where Sharp has paid for a portion of the repair, and it's worth a couple phone calls. Expect a charge of $200-$250 to repair it in a sharp authorized repair facility. the part number of the new pad is PSPAZA663WJKZ.
