I Have A Sharp Lc-30hv6u Television The The Avc Has A Red And

green blinking light when I try to turn the system on the display hooked up works with the DIRECTV STB but cant get any sound due to the fact that I only have DVI cable hooked up from the STB to the Display unit, the AVC is not hooked up picture is great how do I fix the AVC to go green when I have everything hooked up and it will turn on as it should?????

the AVC will not work without the two cables being hooked to the monitor section. Hook the satellite to the AVC not directly to the monitor.
