Power Will Not Turn On, Only Blinking Red Light From Tv Solid Red From Unit

This model has a feature that tells the set to stop trying to come on once the set registers 5 back light failures. This could be caused by on of the inverter circuits, but every time I've seen this model it actually turned out to be the "main" board in the monitor/display section (part number DKEYHC094FE51 retails for around $175).
You can tell the set to over-ride the failure count to check it the set has been fixed by disconnecting (you might be able to turn off the AV unit) the AV unit from the display (the two cables) and press and hold the [volume down] and [input] buttons on the display keyboard whle pressing the power button to turn it on.
