Have Picture But No Sound On Sanyo Dp42840 Tv.
I have a Sanyo DP42840 LCD TV. The sound worked when we went to bed but he next mornig we had no sound. I have tried multiple things to fix it like 1. Check the mute buton (not muted). 2. Changed the HDMI cable to different ports on the back of the TV. (No sound on any port). 3. Tried headphones (no sound). 4. Tried the regular red, white and yellow cable instead of HDMI cables (no sound). 5. Unplugged all caables except for DVD player HDMI and even the DVD player had no sound.
One would think, ok the sound is out on the TV and it needs to be fixed or replaced. The only problem that I can't explain is when using the IMPUT buton on the remote control, there is sound (static) coming form "03" which I am guessing that is the regular antena channel. When I switch it back to HDMI, no sound again. What is going on here?
