Control Sensor On Bottom Of Tv Is Constantly Blinking.

constant blinking, i tried to unplug control panel on tv and it wont respond to remote. it turns volume + and - by itself, turns on and off by itself, i cant get it out of demo mode ?????? im pulling my hair out. blue ray has connected to internat since three weeks after i bought it, tv is only 3 years old. is there a recall i dont know about or is the senor on the tv bad??? please any help
