I Have The Samsung Ln46c530f1fza And The Tv Won't Turn On.
The power light blinks 5 times then turns off. I replaced the power supply board and that didn't help. looking for any suggestions please on what the issue could be.

yea, this is rarely the power board on this model, it's likely the main board. This model has many versions and this makes it have different part numbers (they were build in different factories and used different LCD panels) So you must look at the version on the side sticker before changing the main or T-Con boards: http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Ln46c530
Here is a general rule on how to determine which board is at fault.
disconnect the cable between the power and main, then plug in the AC cord. If the back lights come on then the power board is likely good.
unplug the AC and hook up all cables. Plug in the AC and watch the indicator, if it's solid red then try to turn on the TV. You want it to start blinking when the AC is plugged in. Once you have this then unplug the AC cord (this means that when it's plugged back in it will automatically try to turn on). Now unhook the cables on the main board except the one from the power cord. Now plug the AC back in and watch to see if the back lights come on and stay on. If so then the main is likely good and one of the cables you disconnected was going to the problem. The only things that you disconnected is the remote/function keyboard, the speakers (not likely the problem unless the wires are shorted to the chassis) and the T-Con board (hooked via the flat LVDS cable).
Chances are the set didn't come on and stay on so you will need the main board. make sure you find the version, if you don't find the version then submit another question with your serial number.
