How To Replace 4719-001997 Dlp Chip In A Samsung Hlt5687sax/xaa ?

Although changing the chip is not too difficult, just a bit time consuming, it's the alignment after it's replaced that takes the majority of the time and accessing the service menu might be where a novice may find difficult.
The chip is behind the DMD board on the optical engine. It's just a matter of removing the engine, the fan in front of the metal encased board. Removing the metal covers and pulling the board to access the chip.
