I've Been Doing Some Research On This Problem, As My Samsung Hlt 5656 Wx/xac Tv

is just to messy with white dots to watch tv. It is an older TV and came with the house that I bought. This summer a couple dots showed up, and now there's over 50 throughout the 56" screen. I've seen a few how to's and such, but I feel I must go into the TV to visually see the parts that I need. I could use a hand with the part #'s though prior too. I will require the DLP chip number (4719-001969? is this correct) and the DMD board number. The newer DLP chips are held in with screws and loos very simple to change out. How easy is the swap out for this series of DLP chip?? How is it attached? Thanks in advance for any help or insight that you can provide. Chris R.

I can do the research to ensure you get the right DLP chip, but I need to know the serial number and the model code. This model was made in several plants and many times they used different parts.

You do not need to change the DMD board, just the chip. The chip is held to the board with the springs. The chip is easy to exchange, but getting it aligned and focused is the hard part
