Ricoh Is Printing From The Wrong Tray
We have a Ricoh MP c5000 in my office. We need the printer to print from tray 1 and it keeps wanting to print from tray 4. The printer will stop itself and blink red, prompting one of us to get up and manual set the printer to print from tray 1. The printer will not allow us to change this setting. How can we avoid this issue?

The reason it won't print from tray 1 is either the setting for that paper tray -- maybe it's set for thick paper or another non-standard setting. If that's not the issue, check to see if Auto Paper Select is enabled. There's something keeping the copier from wanting to use that first tray, so make sure the settings for the first tray are the same as the other trays you use.
