Updating Destinations Failed. Please Check The Configuration

i have machine MP C3000 PCL 5C. we are unable to transfer the scaned docts to our server as well other computes. Our server is running with MS server 2012 R2 and pcs are with win 8 pro. can you please send us the solution so that we can be able to resolve it. Thanks Waheed

Hi, if you are trying to scan to Server 2012 and Windows 8 computers from an MP C3000, your copier probably needs a firmware upgrade to be able to scan to those PCs. Server 2012 and Windows 8 use a newer version of SMB than the MP C3000, and the version they use is apparently not backwards-compatible. There is a firmware upgrade that will allow the C3000 to communicate with the newer computers, and once the firmware has been upgraded you should be able to scan.
