Blue Screen Tv Says Button On Tv Are Blocked

There are a number of things that could be causing this problem: Parental Controls: The channel may be blocked or is not approved in the Parental Controls menu, if you have this feature. Accessing the Parental Controls menu depends upon the TV model.

Option A:
- Press MENU to display the Main Menu.
- Select the Parental Controls menu.
Option B:
- Press MENU on your remote to display the Main Menu.
- Select TV SETUP.
- Select V-CHIP SET.

TV/VCR Mode: If you're using a VCR, the TV/VCR button could be in the wrong mode. Press the TV/VCR button on the VCR to correct this. Cable/Air Setting: The Cable/Air function could be in the wrong position. Depending on your model, there are different ways to correct this.

Option A:
- Press the MENU button on the remote control, select the Channel menu, then select the appropriate signal type: Antenna or Cable TV.
Option B:
- Select the GUIDE Plus+TM menu from the Main menu, then select the Setup option, and provide the correct information on the following screens.
Option C:
- Check the Reception: Cable/Air setting in the TV Setup menu.
- Auto Channel Search:
  - If the channel can be accessed using the number buttons on the remote control but not the CH buttons, it may not be programmed in the Auto Channel Search function. Accessing this varies depending on the model TV. On many TV's:
  - Press the MENU button on the remote.
  - Select the Channel menu.
  - Select Auto Channel Search.
  - Conduct a new search or manually add the channel.

Given the many TV models, it is possible that troubleshooting the problem using these features may differ from the instructions listed above. See your owner's manual.
