Why Want My Rca Flat Screen Tv Stay On
OK I true my Rca TV on and in about a min it turns off what could be wrong

A common failure is a 2200uf capacitor and a 220uf capacitor on the 6 volt line that swells, these caps are blown, the location is cp150 for the 2200uf and the other is right next to it, if they are swollen replace them.
In this area of the TV comprises some fuses, a bridge rectifier (4 diodes) a couple of capacitors, (2200uF and 220uf) fusible resistors and a regulator, all are prone to failure.
I would check the power board (where the cord connects to the TV on the inside) for these parts.See if you can get a borrow a DDM (Digital Display Meter) to check components
