Pairing Different Models

Hi, im trying to pair a Polk Surroundbar 5000 with the Polk OMNI SB1 Plus subwoofer. Will this work and if so what are the steps to accomplish this? Thanks in advance either way.

Yes, you can pair different models of Polk Audio SB1 Plus soundbars together to create a stereo pair. To do this, you will need to connect both soundbars to your Wi-Fi network and then use the Polk Audio app to group them together.

To connect your Polk Audio SB1 Plus soundbars to your Wi-Fi network:

Download and install the Polk Audio app on your mobile device.

Open the Polk Audio app and create an account (if you don't already have one).

Follow the instructions in the app to connect each soundbar to your Wi-Fi network.

To group your Polk Audio SB1 Plus soundbars together to create a stereo pair:

Open the Polk Audio app and tap on the Devices tab.

Tap on the + button in the top right corner of the screen.

Select Group from the list of options.

Select the two soundbars that you want to group together.

Tap on the Create Group button.

Once your Polk Audio SB1 Plus soundbars are grouped together, you can play audio from your phone, tablet, or computer to both soundbars at the same time. To do this, simply start playing audio on your device and then select the Polk Audio Stereo Pair group from the list of available playback devices.

Please note that you can only group together Polk Audio SB1 Plus soundbars. You cannot group together different models of Polk Audio soundbars.
