Hts8100 Won't Power On
hi,My sound bar doesn't power on. There is no light or any indication that there is any power?Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

This could either be:
that the Philips Soundbar HTS8100/37 has kicked in auto-protect mode as its built-in diagnostics has sensed a fault and halted the system to prevent further damage; and/or
the power supply itself has faulted.
Almost always, this is a hardware fault requiring the Philips to be opened up to effect repairs. Options then are:
consider a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair if and only if comfortable working with electronic components & circuitry, use of a DVM/VOM, a soldering iron/station and safe practices with electrically powered devices. Access to a Service Manual or at the very least, a schematic diagram would be a necessity;
should you be uncomfortable with a DIY, perhaps your best bet would then be to consult with and/or seek the services of an authorized Service Center (specially if still under some form of extended warranty) or a qualified professional.
