How To Connect Newer Device To Th-42phd7uy.
I have model TH-42PHD7UY and I want to connect laptop or dvd player etc..that use HDMI or USB connection. I see extra slots available on monitor...can I add anything to make this work or are there adapters I can use. I tried a VGA to HDMI but it could not get a signal.Hoping I don't have to get rid of monitor it has a good picture.

The Panasonic TH-42PHD7UY is a plasma display panel that does not have built-in HDMI or USB ports. However, you can still connect devices that use HDMI or USB by using external adapters.
To connect a laptop or DVD player with HDMI output to the TH-42PHD7UY, you will need an HDMI to VGA converter or an HDMI to component video converter.
