this lamp is the famous LiFi lamp and it normally requires a tech to replace. If the set is under 5 years old then it's under warranty. if it's over 5 years here is a link to show the lamp part number and it even has the service manual: http://www.encompassparts.com/model/MSCPT56LCX70/_/_/Panasonic/PT56LCX70/
