Invalid
On our phone here at my work it will not give a dial tone but continues to say invalid on the screen what could be making it do this?

If it shows invalid on the screen than
Invalid means
1 ) The unit does not have a registered line. Contact your
administrator.
2) The handset you paged from the base unit is not
registered (KX-TGP550 only).
3) If the STATUS indicator still does not light in green, see
"STATUS indicator", page 53
