Vhs Tape Play Is Jerky With Sound Varying In Pitch In Step With Jerking. Video P

lay accompanied with bursts of hash in step with the jerking and the play arrow blinking faster than the jerking. Video picture becomes clear for a few seconds. Fault first noticed about 2 months ago. The jerking would clear after a while and the rest of the tape would play normally. But now it jerks all the time. Can anyone help?

-If reset do not fix the issue, consider to reapir from expert.

How do I reset my Panasonic recorder?

Reset the unit as follows:

Press and hold [POWER] on the main unit for more than 10 seconds. The unit is forcibly switched to standby. Alternatively, disconnect the AC power supply cord, wait for about 1 minute, then reconnect it.

Press the [ POWER] button to turn the unit on
