No Sound Through Tv

There is no sound coming through my Onkyo TX Sr506 speakers when switched to cable/sat mode. Sound is only coming through my tv not my surround sound yet works with DVD and radio stations. How do I fix this problem?

I don't know what connector your using for the cab/sat mode but you may need an audio out connection to the receiver.
