Cd-set Up

Questioning my logic in buying the VR310 in Oct 2011 because of the slack support system. Set up from CD, "Installation operation failed, error 00001618." Tried online support, get the same message. The online technicians requires me to pay for their service information. I purchased your item in good faith and strongly believe the company liable to sort this major gliche. I emailed the Olympus Imaging co, but that came back return to sender!!
