Electrical

I have replaced regulator. New full charged battery. Sometimes battery overcharges on dash meter, sometimes dose not charge at all and battery goes dead in matter of minutes. Looked at ground and wires for short and connections. Am I missing somthing? Need help. Joe

If the battery is discharging in minutes you must have a direct short to ground somewhere. I've dealt with electrical automotive shorts of my own & haven't been able to locate them. I suggest taking it to a local repair shop they are better equipped to locate it.
