Could be a few things. Check the serpentine belt that drives the alternator. Make sure it is tight and driving the alternator correctly. Check for glazing or damage on the belt. If the belt is slipping, the alternator will not deliver a full charge to the battery. Replace the belt if it looks worn. If it's loose or slipping, you will have to replace the serpentine belt tensioner.

Check the fusible link in the battery cable that goes to the alternator. It should be in the positive battery cable. If the fusible link is melted, the alternator cannot charge the battery. The solution to that is to cut out the fusible link and replace it with a new one. Just be sure to disconnect the battery cable before working on the cable.

Another possibility is that your voltage regulator is defective. I think the voltage regulator is attached to the alternator on your specific vehicle, but I'm not positive. I have attached a photo of the voltage regulator. Disconnect the battery cable before doing any work on the alternator or voltage regulator.
