How To Reset Drum Counter In Oki C830

I get error for drum counter and I try to reset conter, but I don't know how to do it. Can anybody hel me, please?

Hello. I am an Oki Data helpdesk technician from Oki Data America's. The drum counters are reset automatically when installing a new drum. There is no manual reset procedure.

Drum reset happens by the blowing of a fuse on the drum when inserted for the first time. It is possible but awkward to replace fuse in drum, these are available from a number of outlets on Ebay, I do it by putting fine wire under the contact points on the drum, routing the wires out of the printer and connecting the wires through the fuse. Switch on the printer and fuse is blown and drum is reset. Some times a 'fatal error' message comes up, restart and this should disappear. has never failed for me. I normally get at least 3 resets out of each drum
