Differences Between Nikon Batteries And Chargers.

We have a Nikon D500 and D7000. We ordered back-up chargers and batteries. What is the difference between Nikon batteries EN-EL15 and EN-EL15a? Are they interchangeable in our two camera bodies? We also have both Nikon Battery Chargers MH-25 and MH25a. Are these interchangeable also, such that we can charge either EN-EL15 or EN-EL15a batteries in either charger?

The MH-25a is a battery charger designed specifically for recharging Nikon EN-EL15/EN-EL15a Lithium-ion batteries. So yes they're interchangeable.
