Mute Button Remains Red
why does the mute button on the roadmaster remain red?

In this case I will recommend you to perform a Factory Reset to the device.
To modify the Roadster™ configuration settings, enter setup mode by pressing and holding the Call button while powering up. Follow the voice prompts to make changes to these settings.The first option will be the Reset to Factory Default.
