Unfortunately, the Motorola Roadster 2 (I have 3 of them) does not have a replaceable battery. Motorola even warns you in the manual, that you would damage the product and void any warranty if you try to open it. I know that is not what you were wanting to hear, neither was I. But if you are having trouble charging it, it may not be the battery. I had a charging problem and thought it was shot, so I ordered a replacement. It would light up and then say charged, but it wasn't. It was the charger. I had several micro usb chargers so I tried one of them and it charged fine. So before replacing it and tossing it, give that a try. I unfortunately didn't try it before ordering another one. Hope that helps! Good Luck
