How Do You Cancel Mediacom Services?

It is fairly simple to cancel Mediacom services.  Call the 800 number supplied on your bill (they vary state to state), tell the first representative you want to cancel your services.  They will try to transfer you to a retention, or save, department.  They will offer you better deals to stay, just tell them no.  They have recently started contract deals.  If you cancel within 30 days of signing up, there is no fee.  If it is after that, there is no way to get out of your contract unless the account holder is deceased or there can be military proof of new orders.  If it is after hours you can cancel pretty easily, but be warned and asked about any contracts on your account.
