My Magellan Roadmate 1700 Will Not Turn On.

Over a period of about a year now, if I have the GPS on and then start my truck, the GPS would some times turn off. This morning it will not even turn on. I connected it to the computer and hit the reset switch on the GPS and then turned it on. The Magellan would come on with the clock looking thing starting to spin and then about 5 seconds later it will turn off. Don Gruenhagen
