Scanning And Saving As A Word Doc
Im trying to scan and save as a word doc but it says i need a disk. can i do this on line if i dont have the disk?

When you scan and save it as a WORD doc it will go through an OCR software. The OCR software can be found only via the installer disc that came with the printer originally it is bundled on the Scan software. If you lost the disc you can try checking online for freeware for the OCR.
Another option is if you are not doing some editing on the scan file you can just try to scan it and save it as a picture file.
