Printer part that is written on by the laser, picks up toner from the developer unit, and then transfers toner to the paper. Contains the photoconductor drum.


May be a separate part, or may be combined with the developer unit (forming an imaging unit) and/or the toner cartridge (forming a print cartridge).

Its where the image is being reflected before printing.
