Can I Refill Ink Cartridges For Lexmark X1180?

Yes, you can.  I've been doing it for years...  I refill mine with a syringe-style kit, but have used others.  There are alot of tricks to it - like you have to drill a small hole through the "breather hole" - that tiny hole in the top, details to refilling them, but the best is, with experience, you get a "feel" for how much to re-fill them.  It can be a mess, too, and have found the syringe-style to work better.  I use the #17 cartridge, which holds more ink, and refill it with about 10-15 cc's of ink.  Make sure to not overfill, or it leaks out the bottom.  Do the installation via the Solution Center program, and run a couple of tests to purge excess ink.  Make sure not to OVERFILL the cartridge.  The refills on a NEW cartridge works maybe 10-15 times, and then they just get tired and worn out or something, I guess, and have to buy a new, or refilled one that costs.  I go for the recycled ones almost always.  ((Attitude: I bought my printer for 50 euros about 8 years ago and use the refill kit as much as possible.  The prices of the new cartridges is a g-d ripoff, and will forever CURSE the mfrs for their absolute theft, THEFT, THEFT and gouging their own customers for something that should be cheap, easy, convienent.  Thank god there are businesses that let you buy products like refill kits, although you can bet the new cartridge mfrs are trying to create a patentable work-around so they can charge more for what they've lost in the last decades+.
