Cracked Housing
Can the housing around the screen be replaced? It has cracked/split on the left side above the hinge. The hinge itself is still intact and works properly, however the laptop cannot be closed because of the crack in the housing.

Based on my research, there is no available replacement part for your Lenovo Y510. Unfortunately, it is not possible to repair the cover of the screen or housin of your laptop. Try to bring the laptop to the nearest service/repair center in your area for possible repair. Here's the link to the user's manual for additional help.
