On My Lgvx8300, In My Name Card Under Contracts, How Do I Remove My Cell Phone N

On my LGVX8300, in My Name Card under Contracts, how do I remove my cell phone number? Also, in Settings & Tools, under Phone Info, how do I remove my cell phone number? I'm trying to clear all personal information before I trade in the cell phone.

in the menu press 0

when ask for code, press in all 000000

when it gives the first number just press ok

when your phone number is displayed press in 000-000-0000

press ok

press ok for the next few questions

your phone will shut down then restart

if you check menu 9 - 9 -1 your phone number is now 000-000-0000

your may have also made the phone inserviceable (if that is a word) so make sure you do not plan to use it again.
