Have A Lg 60pk540 House Has Been Struck By Surface Lightning Wich Took Out Cable
cable box took a surface lightning hit wich took out tv is there a way to diag problem took off back and can not find any bad fuses but when unpluging the cable board tv will power up ,can this b the bad part??

Possibly but I recommend that you refer this to a qualified service shop. Without the proper test equipment you'll wind up doing black-box part swapping which will become expensive.
You might be better off just buying as new TV.

same thing happened to me, lightning followed the cable in, tv turns on but is all green and choppy, tech said it needs a new main board and power board. I dont know if yours has a green screen or not, but if it does those are the parts to replace. if it runs differently maybe you just need the power board. We are in the process of claiming it on our homeowners insurance which they said they will cover it and either replace or repair it.
