'add The Following Paper In The Multi Purpose Tray' Why Does It Keep Saying Thi

I have paper in the machine, the same paper we have been using for months...now it keeps saying "Add the following paper in the multi purpose tray" I keep resetting the printer, I've turned it off and left it off for awhile turned it back on and it still keeps doing this...ugh please help

The problem is with the paper settings... Could you be using Letter size paper or an A4 plain paper...

Remedy1:On the system settings, to the common settings, set PAPER TYPE TO BE OVERIDE , as such , be it a letter or a plain paper, will be picked...

Remedy2: on the same system settings, to the MP tray, set to be custom or thick paper such that all other paper types will automatically be for the normal tray/s...

Could be the lift motor, or some paper stuck behind the tray stopping it from lifting.
