Gas Smell In Kgr806pss00, Ser#kr44-15616 When Baking

There is a gas smell when I start the bake or convection bake in the oven. A gas fitter could not find a leak and said it needs a service person to look at it. Is this going to be an expensive fix? Do you know whats wrong?
