Kenwood Excelon Kvt 815 Dvd

I installed my kenwood excelon kvt 815 dvd but it will not pick up any stations i have the static in the speakers but no stations and the main antenna wire is hooked correctly to the reciever. I can put a cd in and have sound out of speakers
