Unit Stopped Functioning

screen went blank, no audio, just an electronic hum, no response from controls. Pressed reset several times, no change

Check the Kenwood trouble shooting links below for radio not turning on. 2nd link talks about the protect mode and how to diagnose why it may be on. Good luck.
