Bluetooth Connection Problem

can someone please give me some advice on how to get my nokia phone to work via bluetooth throuh my jvc KD-BT1 headset. my other phones have worked and paired up fine with this unit.but my latest one wont connect even though it is seeing the unit. have tried deleting all old phones off the head unit but they just keep re appearing,have disconnected it from main power source for over a week in the hope it would lose the memory and also pressed the reset button..all to no avail.HELP!!!!!
