How To Enable Tpm On Hp Z420

Under "Section 2: System Management", "The computer Setup (F10) Utility", "he computer Setup (F10) Utility Menu", you will see within "Table 2-1 Computer ... Utility Menu Description", on page 32 & 34, that under the "Security" tab within BIOS, you can go to "Device Security" Option and within this option you should be able to set "Device Available" (which is the default setting) for the "Embedded Security Device". The device needs to be set to "Device Available to be able for the OS to see it.
Also under the "security" tab within BIOS, you can now go to "System Security" and within this option you should see new option "Embedded Security Device" (which is now visible since you made the device available previously). Now you can set the TPM options for "power on authentication" and "Reset authentication credentials".
