Won't Turn On At All?
the ambient light on the bottom of the PC used to light the keyboard, will flash, but the PC will not turn on at all. I have unplugged, replugged, etc. Confirmed its not the power cord - tried to turn the machine on. Nothing works. Is it time to get a new PC?

Step 1. Unplug your computer's power adapter from the wall and from the computer
Step 2. Hold down the power button on your computer for at least one minute
Step 3. Plug the power adapter back into your computer and then into a different wall outlet (for this step it is important to ensure you are not plugged into a powerbar or powerstrip)
Step 4. Power up your computer
If your computer does not start up correctly and shuts down again I suspect your power adapter is possibly defective. HP no longer carries your specific power adapter for order, but you should be able to locate one online or locally
