If the image on the viewfinder screen on the camera looks OK but the image is faded on your computer that means that the original was over exposed. if it looked OK at first and then faded then the import software has adjusted the image. If you need help with any digital photograph it is always helpful to publish the 'Exif' data. This gives information about camera settings when the photo was taken.
