Laptop To Tv Connection

What kind of cable/connector do I need to connectmy G6 to a TV (not a HDTV)? I believe my connection to the TV should be the connector that has the red, yellow and white inputs on one end. Is that correct?

They actually do not make a cable that goes from a laptop to the red yellow white cable. The reason for this is that there would have to be some sort of converter box for the most part, and it's not really a cable that is profitable for companies to make because it's not one that would be needed very much anymore. You may be able to find one online that someone has come up with and in that case you would be looking for a VGA to RCA cable.
