68.2 Storage Write Fail

Usually all you have to do is initialize hard disk even if you do not have one. Just turn off the printer. Turn the printer back on and when the memory starts to count hold down the menu key until all three lights come on. When all three lights are on solid release the menu button and press the arrow back button and initialize disk should appear in the menu. Just hit the check mark button again and it should take care of the problem.

68.X Permanent storage write fail

A nonvolatile storage device is failing to write. Pressing the SELECT button should clear the message. Printing can continue,but behave unexpectedly in response to the changed settings.

X = Description, 0 = onboard NVRAM 1 = removable disk ( flash or hard )

1. Press the SELECT button to continue.

2. Reboot the printer.

3. If the 68.0 error persists initialize the NVRAM. CAUTION THIS WIPE OUT ALL TH SETTINGS ON THE FORMATTER,SERIAL NUMBER,PAGE COUNT ETC.

4. If this error message persists replace the formatter .

5. For a 68.1 error message reinitialize the hard disk. CAUTION ALL DATA ON THE DRIVE WILL BE LOST.

6. If the 68.1 error persists replace the disk.
