I Lost My Product Key And Don't Know What To Do

How to retrieve product key for my HP laptop?
There are utilities that can retrieve the product key, but they have to be run in Windows, and without that, you're stuck. Since HP keeps no records of individual product keys associated with individual PCs, there's no way that HP can provide that information.

The way to find the product key is to remove the battery. Then look at the label in the space and there will be a part number, product code and model code on the label as well as a serial number.
If you need parts or information on your laptop go to www.hp.com/support and follow the details of putting in your model and all data for that laptop will be supplied.
